Substrate Installation – Foam, Plywood & WIP300

Problem/Challenge:
The existing flashing and tile underlayment had deteriorated, leading to persistent leaks during heavy rainfall. Several vent penetrations showed signs of rust and sealant failure.

Solution:
The crew carefully removed existing tiles, applied foam substrate and new plywood decking, and sealed the surface using WIP300 – a high-performance underlayment. Custom flashing was installed around each vent to improve water resistance, followed by precise tile reinstallation.

Results:

  • ✔ Fully restored vent flashing and tile configuration
  • ✔ Improved drainage and water resistance
  • ✔ Work completed in under 3 days with minimal disruption
  • ✔ Building facilities team reported no further leaks after heavy storms

Testimonial:
“They were fast, professional, and easy to work with. The flashing looks fantastic and the building is completely dry — great job!”

Scaffold Access Prepared for Roof Cleaning

Problem/Challenge:
The school’s flat roof had collected significant debris, algae, and residue buildup from the spring season. Water was pooling along the parapet walls, and several gutter lines were blocked. The school needed a quick turnaround without disrupting daily operations or creating muddy runoff.

Solution:
Ventov Roofing used commercial-grade surface cleaners and low-pressure sprayers designed for membrane-safe application. The team cleared gutter lines manually and staged access around staff parking zones to avoid disruption. After a full rinse, the team performed a drainage test to confirm flow efficiency.

Results:

  • ✔ 100% removal of debris and surface algae
  • ✔ Restored drainage flow through all gutter lines
  • ✔ No complaints or interference with school operations
  • ✔ Building managers added Ventov to annual maintenance rotation

Testimonial:
“This was the most thorough cleaning we’ve had. Our last contractor left residue behind, but Ventov did it right — even checked the downspouts!”
